BTA Shareholders sue Kazakhstan for $3 Billion

The shareholders of BTA Bank JSC have brought a suit against the Republic of Kazakhstan for $3 billion, Chairman of the Board at BTA Bank, Anvar Saidenov said during a briefing in Almaty, Kazakhstan Today reports.
"This is a question of ... about $3 billion. There are two claims, each for one and a half billion," Saidenov said.
BTA group is one of the leading bank networks in the CIS, according to Kazakhstan Today.
