Nazarbayev meets KNB Chairman and First Nur Otan Vice Chairman

    President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with the Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, Amangeldy Shabdarbaev, and the First Vice Chairman of the Nur Otan People's Democratic Party, Darkhan Kaletaev, Kazakhstan Today reports citing the president's press release.
    "Shabdarbaev reported to Nazarbayev on the National Security Committee’s results in priority areas, especially the fight against terrorism, extremism, separatism, organized crime, and corruption," the press release reported.
    The head of state also met the First Vice Chairman of the Nur Otan People's Democratic Party, Darkhan Kaletaev.
    "Darkhan Kaletaev reported on progress in achieving the goals established by the head of state at the 12th Party Congress and on the work completed by Nur Otan in the regions. In particular, he said that 6,814 primary organizations are now operating in the country. The president gave a number of assignments on the further development of the Nur Otan Party and set a number of objectives for the party for next few years, according Kazakhstan Today.
