FBI Cooperates With Kazakh Public Prosecutor on Elimination of Organised Crime

    The State Office of the Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the Ministry of Justice of the USA has signed a memorandum of understanding.
    According to the press service, the General Public Prosecutor of Kazakhstan, Kairat Mami, met FBI Director, Robert Mueller, to sign a memorandum between the Public Prosecutor and the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Kazakhstan.
    In the interests of deepening bilateral cooperation and solving certain legal problems, the two departments intend to render mutual legal assistance in particular in the field of fighting organized crime and legalizing the income gained from criminal activities, according to Kazakhstan Today.
