Temirbank, a medium-sized Kazakhstani lender controlled by state-run bank BTA, said on Monday it would restructure its debt separately from BTA.
Kazakhstan's Financial Supervision Agency and specialised financial court have approved Temirbank's restructuring plan, it said in a statement, adding that state welfare fund Samruk-Kazyna would get a majority stake in the bank, according to Reuters.
