Kazakhstan Successfully solved Many Problems during Crisis – President

    Kazakhstan was able to solve very difficult issues this year, President Nursultan Nazarbayev said at a meeting with diplomats accredited in Astana at the Ak Orda residence yesterday.
    "We have completely stabilized the situation in the financial sector. Talks with investors in London concerning Alliance Bank and Turan Alem Bank have been completed. We have resolved very difficult issues in the financial system and are approaching its full stabilization," Nazarbayev said.
    The president also stressed that last year was a year of truth.
    "The global crisis has given an opportunity to reevaluate ongoing processes, politics, the economy in finance and draw up new plans," Nazarbayev said, according to Kazakhstan Today.
