Trans-Asian Parliamentary Forum kicks off in Almaty

The Trans-Asian Forum Eurasian Dimension of the OSCE kicked off in Almaty Friday, May 14.
Representatives of large international organizations, namely, Secretary General of the OSCE Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE Joao Soares, Secretary General of the OSCE PA Spenser Oliver, Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia Miroslav Yencha and diplomats of 35 countries attended the event.
Kazakhstan is represented by OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev, Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, and Majilis Chairman Ural Mukhamedzhanov, according to Kazinform.
