President of Turkey on Official Visit to Kazakhstan

    Turkish President, Abdulla Gul, arrived in Astana on a four-day official visit to Kazakhstan on Sunday, May 23 upon invitation of the head of state, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kazakhstan Today reports, citing a presidential press release.
    According to the press release, Nazarbayev met the President of Turkey at the Shymkent airport.
    The two men talked about the development of bilateral relations.
    Nazarbayev and Gul will visit Turkestan, where they will go to the Ahmed Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University. The majority of the agenda involves meetings in Astana, according to Kazakhstan Today.
