Uralsk Firm gets Major GE Contract

    The Uralsk-based company ZKMK has signed a long-term contract to maintain General Electric Oil and Gas’ oil and gas turbines in Central Asia.     Under the contract ZKMK will repair GE’s turbines and centrifugal compressors in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.     The deal includes a technology transfer.
