Kazakhstan allows Russian Emercom to extinguish Fires at Border

Kazakhstan has given permission to Russian aviation agency Emercom to extinguish fires in its regions bordering Russia, Emercom’s information department said on Wednesday.
“Following an inquiry from Russia’s Emercom, Kazakhstan gave permission,” the department said.
Emercom Leutenant-General Vladimir Stepanov, who is responsible for emergencies, said Wednesday that an amphibian plane and a Be-200, two Mi-26 and two Mi-8 helicopters and two Il-76 planes had been sent to the border from Moscow, Itar-Tass wrote.
