Kazakhstan's Industrial Output up 10 Percent Year-on-Year

    Kazakhstan’s industrial production increased 10.4% year-on-year-on in January to October 2010 compared to the same period last year.
    According to statistics, the production of crude oil, coal and lignite, natural gas, iron ore increased in January to October 2010 compared to same period in 2009.
    The production of food and refining, textiles, construction materials, chemical, metallurgical and mechanical engineering products also increased.
    Production volume grew in 14 regions of the country and decreased in Western Kazakhstan and North Kazakhstan regions, according to RIA Novosti.
