Nazarbayev’s Visit to China to contribute to Kazakh-Chinese Strategic Partnership

    After being invited by Chinese President Hu Jintao, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will make a national visit to the People’s Republic of China on February 21-23, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Ma Zhaoxu announced at a press conference on February 15.
    He said that during the visit, the president will meet President of China Hu Jintao, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, Wu Bangguo and Premier Wen Jiabao.
    The two parties will exchange opinions on deepening bilateral relations and business cooperation in various areas, as well as other international and regional issues.
    The two sides will sign a number of bilateral cooperation documents. The president will also visit Tianjin city during his trip.
    “I think this visit will promote the further strengthening of mutual political confidence, deepening business cooperation and will contribute to the development of Kazakh-Chinese strategic partnership relations,” the spokesperson explained, Kazinform states.
