Kazakh FM visits China

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kazykhanov will go on an official visit September 7-9 to the People's Republic of China (PRC), the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Askar Abdrakhmanov stated.
"On September 7-9, the official visit on part of Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov in China will take place," he said at a news briefing on Monday.
According to Yerzhan Kazykhanov, the agenda for the visit to China includes talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, a separate meeting with the leaders of China and other events.
Abdrakhmanov said the visit will take place on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and China.
"It is expected the negotiations will be affected by current issues such as bilateral relations and regional and international issues. Specific measures will be discussed for the further promotion of Kazakh-Chinese relations for mutually beneficial strategic partnership," he said, according to KazTAG.
