Astana Environmental Conferees approve 75 Projects

    Participants at the 7^th “Environment for Europe” Ministerial Conference approved 75 projects for improving water management, UN Radio’s Russian service reported September 23.
    Twenty countries and four organizations participated. Themes included sustainable management of water and its ecosystems. Uzbekistan was the only Central Asian country to commit to specific reforms, 24.kg reported September 23, according to Central Asia Online.
