Karim Massimov addresses the 6th KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum

    On October 4th Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov addressed the 6th KAZENERGY Eurasian Forum ‘Kazakhstan: 20 Years of Sustainable Growth, New Horizons for Investment and Cooperation’ in Astana.
    Prime Minister emphasized that international energy companies were among the first foreign investors in Kazakhstan and they remained the largest. The Government of Kazakhstan is committed to improvement of investment climate in the country. Besides, Prime Minister said that challenges of energy security and environmental sustainability had incrusted. These challenges require global leadership to overcome.
    ‘Kazakhstan understands the central role played by energy in improving standards of living and powering economic development. The industry is facing a set of unprecedented challenges now. However, I am confident that by working in tandem – government, business, and civil society – we will meet the energy challenges of the 21st century,’ Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov concluded, PM.kz reports.
