Foreign Minister met with U.S. Ambassador

    Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov met with US Ambassador to Kazakhstan Kenneth J. Fairfax on Tuesday.
    The two men expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of the two nations’ strategic partnership, including the successful implementation of agreements reached during the April meeting between Kazakh and US Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Barack Obama.
    "We discussed many topics, ranging from nuclear nonproliferation to security in Europe and Asia," said Mr. Fairfax after the meeting.
    "It was a very good start. I enjoyed talking with Minister Kazykhanov," he commented on his first official meeting with the Kazakh Foreign Minister, Gazeta.kz said.
