Top French delegation to visit Kazakhstan

    A French delegation that includes business leaders and government officials will visit Kazakhstan this week, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Altai Abibullaev stated.
    "On February 15-16, the French delegation will visit Kazakhstan at the level of representatives from major companies and corporations and government agencies. During the visit, the French delegation plans to hold a regular meeting of the Kazakh-French Business Council to discuss the current state of and future prospects for trade and investment cooperation between the two countries and the implementation of major joint projects," he said at a news briefing Monday.
    "During the visit, French business circles will negotiate with chief executives from Kazakh ministries and departments. At the end of the Business Council session, a meeting will be held with Prime Minister Karim Masimov" added Abibullaev.
    He said a meeting of the intergovernmental commission will take place in March, KazTAG reports.
