Customs Union creates jobs in Kazakhstan
15.02.2012
The number of job vacancies rose by 43 percent in 2011.
According to research done by HeadHunter, this increase was connected with the creation of the Customs Union.
Customs Union member countries have opened representative offices, branches, affiliated companies in Kazakhstan, thereby creating new jobs.
Requirements for local candidates have become tougher, because if such company is unable to find a suitable local for a position, it may import experts from member countries.
Kazakhstan’s market is now experiencing a deficit of effective managers.
“New business models are coming to our market all the time, and local managers often lack managerial experience to use these. Experience can be adopted from expats who already have required skills. This is why foreigners are frequently hired to top positions to train local successor managers,” the research states, www.tengrinews.kz said.
