    Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with diplomatic mission officials, Tengrinews.kz reports.
    The president congratulated the ambassadors on the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and delivered a speech.
    “This year is special because 15 years ago, foreign embassies started to gradually move to the new capital of Kazakhstan, which was called Akmola back then. The work of the embassies and representative officers of international organizations is very important for our young capital. The activities of diplomatic bodies and the diplomats’ families bring diplomatic elegance and culture into our capital. We in turn, strive to create all the needed conditions for your positive efforts, life and leisure, and are very attentive to your requests. Those of you that arrived in Astana not long ago have seen how severe our climate can be. But as we meet today, the sun is shining on the first days of spring.
