Kazakhstan to produce its own Sex and the City in Almaty

    Kazakhstan's is finalizing its response to the popular TV series Sex and the City in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Liter.kz.
    A new series called Friends will be released and aired by a major TV channel in April.
    The series will show the lives of five middle-aged big city women in their search for happiness. Ainur Turganbayeva will star as a main character - Zamira.
    Satayfilm is producer for the series; Timur Zhaksylykov is screenwriter. 35 episodes are planned so far, according to www.tengrinews.kz
