Almaty New Music Festival will bring together best modern composers

Almaty will host the New Music Festival for the fourth time, on April 25 to 27.
The event has become a tradition, and organizers say it is a one of a kind festival in the post-Soviet space.
Music of the 19
th and 20th centuries will be performed by prominent Kazakhstani and international musicians during the three-day Festival.
Foreign guests will include Austrian, Russian, American and Central Asian composers and conductors.
The works of Russian composer Yuriy Kasparov will be performed on April 25 – the first day.
Kazakhstan’s Symphony Orchestra will also be featured.
Prominent participants will give master-classes and meet with students and teachers from the National Conservatoire and Almaty musical schools.
Classical music concerts will be held on April 25-27 at the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatoire (Ablaikhan Street, corner of Bogenbay Batyr), www.tengrinews.kz states.
