Freedom of speech is fully observed in Kazakhstan: Nazarbayev

President Nursultan Nazarbayev has made a statement that freedom of speech is being observed more fully in Kazakhstan than in other CIS countries, Tengrinews.kz reports from the 19
th session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.
“We can state clearly that freedom of speech is being fully observed in Kazakhstan, according to our legislation. The situation in this area is better and more progressive than any of our partners in CIS, EurAsEC, SCO, etc.,” President said.
He said that punishment for spreading violence, cruelty, terrorism and extremism is much milder in Kazakhstan than in many other countries.
Speaking of unity, Nazarbayev said that according to polls, 92 percent of Kazakhstan residents are satisfied with the inter-ethnic situation in country, www.tengrinews.kz reports.
