Kazakhstan and Poland develop cooperation

    During a visit on part of the Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov to Poland, he noted interest on part of Poland businessmen in the accelerated industrial and innovative development program.
    At meetings in Warsaw, the attendees discussed Kazakhstan’s upcoming entry into the WTO and its application to host Expo-2017 in Astana.
    Foreign Ministers Yerzhan Kazykhanov and Radoslaw Sikorski are to continue their joint efforts on the preparation of new agreements for extended partnership between Kazakhstan and the European Union.
    Astana and Warsaw share common views on many global and regional security issues as well as the fight against transnational crime and drug trafficking, officials say.
    With Polish Senate Speaker Bogdan Borusewicz, Yerzhan Kazykhanov talked about expanding inter-parliamentary relations.
    In turn, Bogdan Borusewicz noted the beneficial conditions Kazakhstan had created for the Polish expatriate community, Caspionet reports.
