CIS ufologists study Semei phenomenon
16.07.2012
CIS ufologists are studying unusual recurring phenomenon in the city of Semei, Chief of the Kazakhstan-Kosmopoist International Research Association Aivar Isteleuov told Tengrinews.kz.
He said the East Kazakhstan Oblast sees the biggest frequency of abnormal phenomenon in Kazakhstan.
This has been explained by its location near the former Semipalatinsk nuclear test site. “Semipalatinsk is the most abnormal place. There is high level of radioactivity there. UFOs have been seen here. I cannot give you the exact number, but it is a fact that they appear here regularly,” Izteleuov said.
He did not venture to explain the nature of the sitings
He added that ufologists from across the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries will gather for a field congress on August 14, 2012, in Petropavlovsk to study the phenomenon of the Semei area anomalies.
Several UFOs have been seen in Petropavlovsk as well. Leading CIS ufologists will make reports during the congress.
“It is impossible to say exactly when the first contact with extraterrestrial civilizations will happen, or whether UFO really exist. I haven’t seen any so far,” he said, according to www.tengrinews.kz
