United Kingdom changes Her Majesty s Ambassador to Kazakhstan

Dr Carolyn Browne has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
She will succeed Mr David John Moran who will be transferred to another Diplomatic Service appointment.
Dr Browne will take up her appointment in January 2013.
Dr Browne joined the FCO in 1985 and has served overseas in Moscow, New York, Brussels and most recently -- Baku as Ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On her appointment as Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr Browne said, “I am honored to be appointed ambassador to Kazakhstan, and delighted to be returning to a country which I have visited on a number of occasions since 1989. I am looking forward to working with the government and the people of Kazakhstan to strengthen and broaden relations between our two countries,” Trend states.
