Total buys 75% stake in two onshore concessions in Kazakhstan

The France-based Total has acquired 75% stake in two onshore exploration blocks located in southwestern Kazakhstan.
The two concessions, the North block and the South block covering a total of about 14,500km2 were earlier operated by Kazakh Company Nurmunai Petrogas.
