General Prosecutor denies lawsuits vs Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Livejournal

    The General Prosecutor’s Office has denied that Google, Facebook, Twitter and LiveJournal are defendants in a new lawsuit, saying they were only mentioned related to certain pages and blogs.
    At the same time, prosecutors still could have questions for these Internet firms. “If the court decides for instance, to ban the Respublika newspaper, we will raise a question of asking the Facebook administration to delete its page,” the office’s representative told Bnews.
