21.01.2013
To date, 150 states have established diplomatic relations with Kazakhstan and 66 of these have representation offices in the country.
The 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s diplomacy has given a new boost to the development of bilateral cooperation with many foreign partners and provided innovations for both economic and political principles for the country’s development.
This is the essence of the Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy, officials say.
The multi-sided and foreseeable foreign policy will remain unchanged. Understanding its role in global security, Kazakhstan formed its own vision of an effective world order for the new century.
Nursultan Nazarbayev said, “During the Astana Economic Forum and the 4th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in summer of last year, I introduced the G-Global initiative. First of all, G-Global is a new format for global dialogue. Apart from G-8 and G-20, the world should have a universal format of global dialogue. This is the geopolitical mathematics of the 21st century”.
The president said he believes the global financial architecture is now far behind global development. He suggested creating a global anti-crisis conference in Astana to develop a global anti-crisis plan for the UN, Caspionet said.
