A Kazakhstani military appellate court February 6 rejected convicted mass murderer Vladislav Chelakh's appeal, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported.
"The sentence by the specialised inter-district court [that convicted Chelakh] will remain unchanged. The appeal is denied," Judge Bakhytzhan Karamanov said, according to Interfax.
Chelakh in December was sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering 14 other border guards and a ranger at the Gornyi border outpost in May, Central Asia Online wrote.
