Scat plane veers off runway in Almaty

A Scat An-24 airline has run off the runway at the Almaty Airport, Novosti- Kazakhstan reports citing the Almaty Emergencies epartment.
The incident occurred on at 00.25. The aircraft was on a Taraz - Almaty flight and ran off the runway while landing.
24 people were on the board, including 20 passengers and 4 crew members. No one was injured. The aircraft was not damaged.
After the plane stopped, it was towed to a parking lot.
On January 29, 2013, another SCAT Airline aircraft, flight No.760 on route from Kokshetau to Almaty crashed five kilometres short of the runway at Almaty.
21 people were killed. A criminal case has been launched over the crash, according to Trend.
