France-Kazakhstan exhibition kicks off in Astana

    An international exhibition called -- France-Kazakhstan started in Astana this weekend.
    The event is organized as part of the Year of France in Kazakhstan, according to Asima Bimendina.
    She noted this is a special year in the history of the Kazakh-French bilateral relations.
    "This year hails the friendship and understanding between our nations; this is such a delight to share richness of our cultures. I would like to thank famous Kazakhstani artists for showcasing their works here today," Ms. Bimendina said at the unveiling ceremony.
    The exhibition brought together eminent artists from France and Kazakhstan, Kazinform wrote.
