Unit size to be reduced for tariffs on international telephone calls in Kazakhstan

    The unit size will be reduced for international telephone call tariff from 10 seconds to 1 second, the Ministry of Transport and Communications announced.
    Thus, the subscriber will pay for the actual conversation with subscribers of other countries. In other words, speaking during seven seconds, the user will pay a rate of 7 seconds, not 10.
    The size of tariff on international telephone services has been reduced from 60 to 30 seconds in 2010. In 2011, the Minister of Communications and Information introduced per-second billing for calls of the mobile operators. Last July, the size of the unit pricing of phone calls for all subscribers of fixed telephony was reduced from 10 to 1 second, and billing rate international phone calls have dropped from 30 to 10 seconds, CA-News said.
