    Azerbaijan is Kazakhstan’s main political and economic partner in the Caspian region, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov said in Baku on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
    The event was attended by officials from the diplomatic missions of several countries to Azerbaijan, as well as representatives of official and business circles and the intellectuals of Azerbaijan.
    Primbetov stressed his tenure as the head of Kazakhstan's diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan was rich and fruitful, and he leaves Azerbaijan with the most pleasant memories.
    "Azerbaijan is an authoritative, powerful state which has created optimal conditions for the development of the economy and a civil society," Primbetov said.
    Primbetov has served as ambassador to Baku since January 2008.His post, will be replaced by Amangeldy Zhumabayev, Trend reports.
