Uzbek-Kazakh ministerial consultation held in Tashkent

An inventory on the legal framework for bilateral relations was conducted within consultations held on February 26-27 in Tashkent between the Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said Wednesday.
The parties involved discussed the general state of the legal framework of the two states, prospects for its development, and exchanged information on the practice of the legal work.
The consultation participants agreed to monitor the state of the contractual framework of the bilateral relations on a regular basis.
The consultation also exchanged views on the draft of the Uzbek-Kazakh documents under consideration by the parties.
As previously reported, the legal basis between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan currently includes nearly 140 intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, Trend wrote.
