Foreign visitors can now register online

    Foreign guests arriving in Kazakhstan can now register with Immigration through the e-government portal, the Ministry of New Technologies said yesterday.
    "After signing in on the website, the user fills out an online application by entering data," he said.
    "The application is certified via the electronic digital signature of a Kazakh citizen (a representative of the person that filled in the online application.) A notification of registration must be printed and sent to a user's personal account in the event of a positive reply or a refusal,"
    One can register a foreign visitor on the e-government portal within 15 minutes if the person has an e-digital signature.
    The traditional procedure takes at least one working day and requires three documents, Trend notes.
