Astana to host an international conference on Afghanistan

    An international conference called - Regional Security and the Situation in Afghanistan, will be held in Astana on April 11, a news statement from JSC 'Center for Military and Strategic Studies' reported.
    "The conference is being held before the NATO forces' withdrawal from Afghanistan, and 'The Heart of Asia' international conference scheduled on April 25 this year in Astana, also dedicated to the challenges to the regional security and stability," the press service said in its statement released on Wednesday.
    According to the press release, famous international experts, scholars, political scientists and specialists from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Latvia, Russia, Iran and Kazakhstan will make speeches at the conference, Trend reports.
