Iran foreign minister heads to Kazakhstan

    Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi has traveled to Almaty, Kazakhstan, to attend a ministerial conference on regional cooperation.
    Salehi headed to Almaty on Thursday afternoon to attend the “Heart of Asia Ministerial Conference.”
    A bloc of 45 countries as well as regional and international organizations convened the first meeting of the conference in Kabul, Afghanistan on June 14, 2012.
    The conference is aimed at creating trust and enhancing cooperation among the regional players.
    The third ministerial meeting of the conference on Friday will focus on Afghanistan and regional challenges, including terrorism, drug trafficking, organized crimes and economic cooperation, according to Press TV.
