30.04.2013
Members of the Adilet Democratic Party have voted to merge with the Rukhaniyat Party. The newly established party as a result of the merger will be called “Birlik” (Unity), Novosti-Kazakhstan reported citing a news message from the new party.
Serik Sultangali was unanimously elected as party chairman.
It has 140,000 members.
The merger was proposed by Adilet party Chairman Tolegen Sadykhov because of the "similarity in the goals and aims of the two parties," Azernews reports.
