Russia and Kazakhstan discuss preparation of new 'good neighborhood agreement'

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gregory Karasin and Kazakh Foreign Ministry CIS Department Director Askar Tazhibaev discussed the progress in the preparation of a new good neighborhood and allied relations agreement on Tuesday in Moscow.
This and other relevant issues related to Russian-Kazakh cooperation in political, humanitarian and other areas were discussed during their meeting.
A new agreement between Russia and Kazakhstan on good neighborly and allied relations could be signed this autumn at the 10th Interregional Cooperation Forum, in which the leaders of two countries will take part.
The Kremlin called preparation of the agreement as a priority for the development of bilateral relations, CA-News said.
