Moody's changes the rating of Astana from stable to positive

    Moody's Investors Service changed the outlook on the long-term credit rating of Astana (Baa3) from stable to positive, the international rating agency reports. «Moody's today changed the outlook on the long-term credit rating of Baa3 Astana from stable to positive. At the same time, Moody's has also affirmed the rating", the agency’s statement reads. Change in outlook follows a positive outlook on the rating of the notes at Baa2 of Kazakh government and reflects the financial, economic and organizational relationship between the sovereign and sub-structures of the country, KazTAG reports.
