Kazakhstan to open embassies in Ethiopia and South Africa

    Kazakhstan is ready to open embassies in Ethiopia and South Africa to bolster its relations with Africa and the African Union (AU), an announcement made by Special Envoy, Barylbay Sadykov this Thursday indicated.
    Sadykov said the country was increasing its efforts to achieve a per capita income of 25 thousand by 2030. It has plans to become one of the world's 30 most competitive economies by 2050, Newspoint Africa reports.
    Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Tedros Adhanom convened a meeting with Special Envoy of Kazakhstan, Barylbay Sadykov. According to Dr. Tedros, Ethiopia also wishes to join hands with Kazakhstan and accepts its decision of opening embassies in Addis Ababa, the diplomatic nucleus of Africa.
    The Special Envoy shed light on the fact that Kazakhstan was still in its young stage but it desires to open up new avenues to touch the greater hemisphere. It has asked for cooperation with Ethiopia and Africa to aid the country in its path of growth and development. Further, Kazakhstan also showed its interest in investment to bring the countries all the more closer, Bnews.kz wrote.
