Kazakh director to shoot Hollywood movie

    A joint film project involving Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the US has started in Los Angeles, the SUCCESS-K media agency reports.
    "The main character is a young man dreaming of becoming a pilot, but unexpected circumstances throw him into the harsh reality and block him from achieving his dream. He will need to overcome a set of challenges and tests on the way to achieving his goal," the statement said.
    Director Dauren Kamshibayev would not disclose the title, but possibilities are The First Flight and Above the Horizon.
    Negotiations with famous Hollywood actors are now underway. The film will be shot in Hollywood, Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Laguna Beach. Production is planned for the summer of 2014, Bnews.kz wrote.
