Almaty to make decision on hosting 2022 Olympics

    The 2022 Olympics host will be announced July 15, 2014, Kazakhstan's Sports and Physical Activities Agency official Tastanbek Yesenyayev said at a briefing December 11.
    Kazakhstan is hoping that Almaty will get to host the Games. Kazakhstan plans to promote itself during the Sochi games, which start in February, he added, Central Asia Online said.
