Kazakhstan, Iran discussing trade and economic cooperation

The third meeting of the Kazakh-Iran Working Group on Trade and Economic Cooperation has started in Astana.
The agenda includes the implementation of agreements reached at the previous meeting of the working group, as well as the prospects for bilateral cooperation in trade and investment.
"What is at issue is cooperation between Kazakhstan and Iran in industry and mining, agriculture, transport and logistics, tourism and culture, " Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning, Kairat Torebaev said while opening the meeting.
The co-chairman from Kazakhstan is the Deputy Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Timur Zhaksylykov and from Iran - Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Commerce for the development of economic relations, the chairman of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Valiolla Afkhami.
It is planned to sign the protocol to the third meeting of the Kazakh-Iran Working Group at the end of the meeting, according to Trend.
