Kazakhstan to use unorthodox methods to fight cyber-terrorism
22.01.2014
Kazakhstan plans to fight cyber-terrorism using "non-standard methods," Prosecutor General, Askhat Daulbayev said January 17, according to Tengrinews.
"Instead of mechanically removing destructive content from the Web, it uses [that content] to gather intelligence," he said, citing the "non-standard" counter-cyber-terrorism advice of the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Centre.
"I'm instructing ... [my office's] first department to study this question and suggest how to use this approach in [Kazakhstan]," he said, according to Central Asia Online.
