Severe cold forecasted for Akmola Oblast

    Weather forecasters have issued a warning of a strong decrease in temperature in the Akmola Oblast.
    The Kazgidromet state meteorological service said a temperature of -42 Celsius is expected for January 31 in the province.
    Severe cold temperatures are 10-15 degrees lower in Kazakhstan than usual during this period.
    Forecasters warn a powerful anticyclone will move to Kazakhstan on January 30-31, bringing in cold arctic air.
    Severe cold is expected across Kazakhstan on these days, Trend reports.
