Nazarbayev’s new book – G- Global: A 21st Century World, presented in Athens

    Nursultan Nazarbayev's new book G- Global: A 21st Century World, has been presented in Athens, Greece, Tengrinews reports, citing Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry.
    A roundtable meeting to present the book was organized by Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Greece, together with the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy and the Higher School of Philosophy on March 27, 2014.
    The book was originally written in Russian, but was translated into Greek before the event.
    The event was attended by members of Kazakhstan’s diplomatic mission accredited in Greece, thought leaders, media and members of the faculty from the school of philosophy.
    Kazakhstan's G-Global initiative was once again also presented at the event.
    According to the book, the initiative is based on 5 fundamental principles: evolution and renouncement of revolutionary changes in politics, justice, equality and consensus, global tolerance and trust, global transparency and constitutive multi-polarity.
    Participants in the round table reportedly praised the book. Dr. Dimitrios S. Patelis, Professor of Sciences Technical University of Crete, expressed interest in the ideas presented and ‘spoke highly of the democratic transformation and rapid pace of socio-economic development of Kazakhstan,’ www.tengrinews.kz reports.
