12th Eurasian Media Forum kicks off in Astana

The 12th Eurasian Media Forum has started at the Palace of Independence in Astana.
The event brings together public and political figures economists, experts and journalists from over the world, and representatives from international organizations.
An official from the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency Kifayat Aliyeva is among the participants.
Kazakhstan's Secretary of State Adilbek Dzhaksybekov read a letter of greeting by President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the participants.
“The Eurasian Media Forum is an effective platform for an exchange of views among politicians, experts and journalists. During the past 12 years, the forum has brought together more than 5,000 delegates from all over the world. More than 5 thousand media representatives have covered the forum,” he wrote.
Ukraine, Syria and Iran will all be on the agenda for discussion this year along with regional issues and social problems, according to AzerTag.
