Nazarbayev meets President of Azerbaijan in Turkey

President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in odrum, Turkey, Tengrinews reports, citing a presidential press statement.
Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived in Bodrum to participate in the 4
th Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States on June 5, 2014.
During the summit, Nazarbayev held bilateral meetings with the heads of the council's member-states.
During his meeting with Azerbaijan's President, he discussed bilateral cooperation and the most pressing issues on the international agenda.
In particular, Nazarbayev and Aliyev focused on prospects for deepening bilateral ties in trade and investment, oil and gas, transport and logistics. They agreed on the importance of increasing trade to put the existing economic potential to better use.
In addition, the two men discussed cooperation within international and regional organizations, and the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries.
Nazarbayev also took part in the informal meeting of heads of member-states of the council.
At this meeting, participating leaders discussed key aspects of the agenda for the upcoming summit and exchanged viepoints on the main areas for multilateral cooperation within international and regional organizations, according to Tengrinews.
