Kazakhstan, Russia to discuss strengthening of military-technical cooperation

Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov and the management of the military-industrial complex of Russia will discuss further strengthening of military-technical cooperation in Moscow, the Defense Ministry said.
"Defense Minister Serik Akhmetov has paid a working visit to Moscow today," according to the report. "During the visit, he will meet with the management of the Military-Industrial Commission under the government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Russian Technologies State Corporation."
Further strengthening of the military-technical cooperation, the development of the military-industrial complexes of Russia and Kazakhstan, the implementation of joint projects for providing the armed forces of the two countries with modern weapons and military equipment will be discussed during the talks, according to the report.
During the visit, Kazakh Defense Minister will attend the second international exhibition of armament, technology and innovation Oboronexpo 2014. Akhmetov is expected to visit the final of the international competition Tank biathlon 2014, Trend wrote.
