President holds talks with US Congressmen

    President Nazarbayev has met with members of the US Congress, Dana Rohrabacher and Gregory Meeks, a press statement from Ak Orda says.
    The strategic nature of the Kazakh-American relations was noted during the session. Participants also noted the rapid development of the two countries’ trade and investment cooperation.
    In addition, the two parties discussed pressing issues on the international agenda.
    The US congressmen emphasized Kazakhstan’s socio-economic achievements and expressed hope for the continued strengthening of mutually beneficial partnership between the two states, Kazinform reports.
